Swiftwater has enjoyed a very good success rate through the years. We have guided fathers/sons, fathers/daughters, brothers and hunting companions and are very competitively
priced for these type hunts. There are many advantages to having 2 hunters/guide when going after moose, individually your chances are greatly increased. When spotting and stalking we can leave
1 person on the hilltop to direct the hunters. When calling in the sloughs one never knows from which direction the moose may come, or attempt escape. When a moose has been taken, believe us, it
is nice to have another person to help. We can help to put 2 hunters together for these 2x1 hunts.
Swiftwater has the only three leases of private property in nearly 75 river miles, and another lease on property further down river. This allows us to hunt out of comfortable, established camps. Two of our camps are log cabins, on the other we plan to build a large tent platform. All of these camps are right in the heart of moose and caribou country. You'll always return to these camps after a days hunt, we do not operate our actual hunts from spike camps as many outfitters do. We pride ourselves on real hunts, from real camps. You are as likely to see moose a short walk from camp as anywhere on the river.

Guided Camps
Do you and your hunting companions wish to hunt together as a group? Do you desire the equipment, mobility and local knowledge provided by an outfitter but neither need nor wish to
pay for a fully- guided 1x1 hunt? You put together your group of 2-4 hunters and we do the rest. Comfortable canvas wall tents with cots, stoves, wood, etc. are fully set up for your arrival. Camps
have fully equipped kitchens and all food is supplied. As with our 1x1 or 2x1 camps a fully licensed guide with a jet riverboat will stay exclusively with your camp. These camps are located in prime
moose habitat, while also near barren knolls that extend to the open tundra. Typically the guide will concentrate on moose hunting by boat with one or two hunters, while others in your group go
off tundra trekking for caribou. Fishing is available close by.

Outfitted Camps
We only book one unguided camp/year. As with all our camps it is placed near strategic caribou areas that do not require jet boats for mobility. Moose hunting is equally as good as any other location
in our area. Small boats are provided to access areas across the river or short distances away. Moose must be 50"' wide to be legal, this is a difficult judgment call and requires caution.
This is a good way to hunt for a group that is primarily interested in all bagging a caribou, with a good chance for an experienced hunter to also bag a moose.
